Product update: Track reinvested dividends in portfolios

Buying shares that pay dividends is a common way of earning a passive income. But if you're looking to build longterm wealth, you might want to reinvest the dividends instead. Wallmine now helps you track your reinvested dividends.

Previously, paid out dividends always increased your portfolio's cash value. While the option to pay out dividends in cash will continue to be available, turn on dividend reinvesting to track DRIP returns accurately.

How to make your portfolio track dividend reinvestments?

If you're adding a new portfolio — Open your portfolios, find the New portfolio button, and select Yes from the Reinvesting dividends options.

If you're tracking an existing portfolio — Navigate to your portfolio and find its Settings. Select to Edit the portfolio and say Yes to Reinvesting dividends.

Dividend reinvestment tracking has been a long time coming, so please let us know your thoughts and comments. We'd love to hear them!
